The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's soccer team (1-0-2) took down the Dodge City Community College Conquistadors (1-2), 1-0 Aug. 30 at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kan. David Mayamona's goal in the fourth minute was the only goal scored in Friday's contest against Dodge City, who took down No.5 Barton Community College on Aug. 28.

Pierre-Jean Dannenmuller and the Blue Devil defense made it two consecutive games with clean sheets as they only allowed three shots on goal from the Conquistadors. Sophomore captain, Alexandros Papakonstantinou led the team with three shots and two shots on goal. Mario Santoro recorded his first assist on the season with a pass to Mayamona from the left side of the box after pressuring the Conquistador back line.

The next game for the Blue Devils men's soccer team is against the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens at 6 p.m. Sep. 7 at Coffeyville Community College.
