Blue Devils Season Comes to an End with a Loss to Fort Scott in Semifinal, 93-72
March 11, 202493-72 The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (22-10) fell to Fort Scott Community College (22-11), 93-72 Mar. 8 in the semifinal round of the KJCCC Tournament at Johnson County Community College. The Blue Devils accomplished so much this season with 12 conference wins, more than 20 wins in the season, five KJCCC Player of the Week winners and regular season conference champions -
Blue Devils Move onto Semifinals with Victory Over Allen, 106-55
March 05, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (22-9, 12-2) squashed Allen Community College (10-21, 2-12), 106-55 Mar. 4 at MCC-Penn Valley. The Blue Devils move on as the top seed and will play in the semifinal round at 3 p.m. Friday against No. 4 Fort Scott at Johnson County Community College.

Blue Devils Win Regular Season Title with Win Over Hesston, 78-55
February 29, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (21-9, 12-2) squashed Hesston College (16-12, 5-9), 78-55 Feb. 28 at MCC-Penn Valley. KCKCC won the KJCCC regular season title with an overall record of 21-9 and conference record of 12-2. The last time the Blue Devils won the regular season was in the 2019-20 season.

Blue Devils Hit 20-Win Mark with Win Over Labette, 75-51
February 26, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (20-9, 11-2) squashed Labette Community College (9-20, 2-11) on the road, 75-51 Feb. 24. Reginald Morris had an impressive night shooting 7-11 from behind the arc and led the team with 21 points.

February 22, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (19-9, 10-2) beat Fort Scott (19-9, 7-5), 85-78 Feb. 21 at Hy-Vee Arena. The Blue Devils were down 43-38 at half but would climb back in the second half for the win.

February 19, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (18-9, 9-2) beat the Allen Community College Cardinals (10-17, 2-9), 104-82 Feb. 17 in Iola, Kan. The Blue Devils put together a 58-point second half.

February 15, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (17-9, 8-2) beat the Highland Community College Scotties (15-11, 5-5), 85-54 Feb. 13 at MCC-Penn Valley. For the first time this season, the Blue Devils shot 100 percent from the free-throw line (13-13).

February 12, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (16-9, 7-2) thrashed the 12th ranked Johnson County Community College Cavaliers (20-5, 6-3), 73-54 Feb. 9 in Overland Park, Kan. It has been eight years since KCKCC has taken down the Cavaliers on their home court.

February 08, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (15-9, 6-2) hammered the Neosho Community College Panthers (12-11, 3-4), 84-64 Feb. 7 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. The Blue Devils shot an impressive 57.9 percent from the field and didn’t let the Panthers take the lead one time in the game.

Blue Devils Lose Tight Game to Hesston, 80-75
February 05, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (14-9, 5-2) fell to the Hesston College Larks (15-6, 4-3), 80-75 Feb. 3 in Hesston, Kan. The Blue Devils made it a 3-point game with 49 seconds remaining off a Jaylon Moses layup, but could not close the gap any further before time expired.

February 01, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (14-8, 5-1) squeaked by the Labette Community College Cardinals (8-14, 1-5), 73-71 Jan. 31 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. The Blue Devils came back from a four point deficit at halftime.

January 25, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (12-8, 3-1) took down the Allen Community College Red Devils (8-12, 0-4), 85-68 Jan. 24 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. The Blue Devils crashed the boards and had 20 offensive rebounds, which led to 27 second chance points.

Blue Devils Turn Strong Second Half Lead Into Win Over Highland, 71-64
January 23, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (11-8, 2-1) took down the Highland Community College Scotties (12-8, 2-2), 71-64 Jan. 20 in Highland, Kan. The Blue Devils scored 25 points in the first half but erupted for 46 points in the second half to secure the victory. Caleb Jones dropped 11 of the 46 points in the second half.

Blue Devils Lose in Tight Race Against JCCC, 70-67
January 18, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (10-8, 1-1) lost a close game to Johnson County Community College (15-3, 1-1), 70-67 Jan. 17 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. The Blue Devils and Cavaliers had a total of 10 lead changes and five ties during the contest. Pierce Ross took the final shot in regulation with two seconds remaining on the clock but could not convert.

Blue Devils Scoot by Neosho for Conference Opener, 67-64
January 17, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (10-7) defeated Neosho County Community College (9-7), 67-64 Jan. 13 in Chanute, Kan. Caleb Jones led the Blue Devils with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. This makes the fourth game this season that Jones has finished with at least 16 points and eight consecutive games he has finished in double digits.

Blue Devils Fall in Thriller Against Arkansas State Mid-South, 82-80
January 02, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (9-6) fell to the Arkansas State Mid-South Greyhounds (7-7) 82-80 Dec. 15 at National Park College. Cortez Howlett and Reginald Morris both ended the night with 18 points apiece.

January 02, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (9-7) fell short to the National Park College Nighthawks (13-0) 96-64 Dec. 16 at National Park College. NPC had five players finish with double figures and out rebounded the Blue Devils 44 to 26.

December 13, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (9-5) took down the Southeast Bobcats (7-8) 83-67 Dec. 9 at Southeast Community College. BJ Stewart ending the night with a season-high 24 points, and Caleb Jones records his second double double of the season.

Blue Devils Make it Two In a Row With Win Over Metropolitan, 85-70
December 07, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (7-6) took down the Metropolitan Wolves (3-9) 85-70 Tuesday night at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. The Blue Devils made 23 free throws for the game, second most of the season. The only time they have made more free throws in a single game was against MCC on Nov. 10, when they made 25.

Jones Leads the Blue Devils to Victory over John Wood, 83-70
December 04, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (6-6) defeated the John Wood Blazers (5-3) 83-70 Saturday afternoon at Rockhurst University. Caleb Jones led the team with both 22 points and seven rebounds. This marks the third consecutive game that Jones has scored in double figures.

December 01, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (4-5) fell to the Northern Arkansas College-Enid Jets (4-5) 97-89 Thursday night at Rockhurst University. Both Blue Devil forwards, O’shawn Jones-Winslow and Jaylon Moses fouled out with 6:59 remaining in the second half.

November 30, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (5-5) fell to the North Arkansas Pioneers (11-2) 102-85 Tuesday night in Harrison, Ark. Freshman forward, O’shawn Jones-Winslow recorded a career-high 17 points along with six rebounds and two assists.

November 27, 2023The Blue Devils (5-4, 0-0) fell to the Indian Hills Warriors (5-2, 0-0) 96-71, Nov. 21, in Ottumwa, Iowa. Although the Blue Devils outshot the Warriors 75 to 66, the Blue Devils could only convert 27 field goals compared to the Warriors 39.

November 19, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College men?s basketball team (5-2) took down the State Fair Roadrunners (3-5) 76-72 at State Fair in Sedalia, Mo. Mikequese Taylor dropped a career high 26 points while shooting 10-14 from the field.

November 13, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College men’s basketball team (3-1) took down the Metropolitan Wolves (1-3) 100-86 Nov. 10 at Hy-Vee Arena. Pierce Ross came off the bench and recorded a double-double, scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds.

November 06, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College men’s basketball team (2-0) defeated the Southeast Bobcats (1-1) 90-77 on Nov. 4 at Rockhurst University. The Blue Devils offense was led by sophomores Cortez Howlett (22 points) and Reginald Morris (21 points).

November 03, 2023The KCKCC men’s basketball team kicked off their 2023-24 season with a resounding defeat of the University of Saint Mary Spires JV Thursday at Hy-Vee Arena. The Blue Devils led the entire game, winning 99-60.
