The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's soccer team (1-0) defeated State Fair Community College (0-1), 6-0 Aug. 22 in Sedalia, Mo. The Blue Devils finished the 2023 season with an overall record of 13-4-2 and ended in second place in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

Cora Ellermann led the team with three goals, one in the first half and two in the second. Freshman forward, Amelie Max, scored twice in her Blue Devil debut, one in each half. Kaitlyn Milford buried her first collegiate goal with a shot from outside of the box to finish up the Blue Devil scoring. Maria Heuman and the Blue Devil defense mark their first shutout of the season.

The next game for the Blue Devils women's soccer team is against the Highland Community College Scotties at 7 p.m. Aug. 24 at the KCKCC Soccer Field.
