Blue Devils Sprint Past State Fair

SEDALIA, Mo. – The KCKCC baseball team took a quick break from conference action on Tuesday, as they played State Fair on the road. The Blue Devils offense struck for 13 runs and defeated the Roadrunners 13-1.

KCKCC is now 14-14 overall.

The Blue Devils came out of the gates swinging in the first inning when they posted 10 runs. State Fair would score their lone run in the second inning before KCKCC added three more runs in the third frame.

It was a quick five-inning game as the Blue Devils were the victors due to the spread rule.

Jase Woita led the team going a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with three doubles and three RBI. Matthew Buffington was second on the team with two RBI and Noah Young wound up with the win on the mound.

KCKCC returns to play Thursday when they host Labette at 2 p.m.
