Opening Round Goes in Favor of Blue Devils
May 14, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team is advancing to the second round of the Region VI Playoffs after upsetting (3) Cloud County Community College 8-5 in a thrilling showdown May 13 in Salina, Kan. The (6) seeded Blue Devils launched four home runs and delivered five clutch runs in the final innings to seal the win. -
Blue Devil Baseball Heads to Salina
May 11, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team is moving on in the Region VI Playoffs after knocking off No. 11 Dodge City Community College in a best-of-three series sweep. The Blue Devils clinched the series with wins of 12-11 and 8-4, advancing to the next round in Salina, Kan. Freshman third baseman Ian Woita played a key role in the series, going 5-8 at the plate and driving in five runs over the two games. -
Blue Devils Squeeze by Conquistadors in Game One of Plains District Tournament
May 08, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team opened the NJCAA Plains District Baseball Tournament with a dramatic 12-11 win over No. 11 Dodge City Community College May 7. The victory gives the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series, putting them one win away from advancing to the next round in Salina, Kan. Game two is set for 1 p.m. May 8 at the KCKCC baseball field. A win would secure the series for KCKCC, while a Dodge City win would force a decisive Game 3 on Friday. -
Baseball Finishes Regular Season with Statement Games
May 05, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team took down the No. 3 Cowley College Tigers in both games May 3 at the KCKCC baseball field with scores of 4-1 and 18-10. After those results, the Blue Devils will enter postseason play as the No. 6 seed and will host the No.11 Dodge City Conquistadors this week for the opening round of the 2025 Plains District Tournament. -
Blue Devils Fall to No.3 Tigers
May 02, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team fell to the No. 3 Cowley College Tigers in both games May 1 at the Cowley baseball field with scores of 5-1 and 7-1. After those results, Cowley remains in first place in the KJCCC East Division standings with a conference record of 26-4. They are trailed by Johnson County (25-5), Coffeyville (19-13) and then the Blue Devils (17-13). -
Blue Devils Make it 10 Straight
April 28, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team took down Highland Community College four times this past weekend, winning all four games. The first two games were at the KCKCC baseball field with KCKCC winning 18-3 and 9-1. They then took to the road April 26 and beat Highland with scores of 6-2 and 18-4. Currently, KCKCC is in third place in the KJCCC with a conference record of 17-11 behind Cowley 24-4 and Johnson County 23-5. -
Blue Devils Sweep Red Devils
April 22, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team played Johnson County Community College four times over the weekend, winning all four games with scores of 13-6, 13-6, 10-0 and 14-4. Currently, the Blue Devils are 28-28 overall and are in fourth place in the KJCCC with a conference record of 13-11. -
Blue Devils Hook the Pirates
April 16, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team took down Division II No. 20 North Central Missouri College Pirates 11-7 April 15 at the KCKCC baseball field. This is the second time these two teams have faced off with one another, and the Blue Devils have gotten the best of the Pirates both times. The first game on March 25 ended with a final score of 10-8 in Trenton, Mo. -
Baseball Winless in Fort Scott
April 14, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team lost both games to the Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds April 12 with scores of 4-3 and 11-2. Both teams are now 9-11 in conference play, tied for fourth place in the East Division standings. Ahead of them are Cowley (20-4), Johnson County (20-4) and Coffeyville (15-9). -
Late Heroics Boost Blue Devils to Sweep
April 11, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team swept the Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds at the KCKCC baseball field with scores of 4-0 and 7-5 April 10. Both teams entered Thursday afternoon with a conference record of 7-9. With both wins, KCKCC is now in fourth place behind Cowley (18-4), Johnson County (18-4) and Coffeyville (13-9). -
Blue Devils Fall in Mid-Week Matchup
April 09, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team fell to the State Fair Community College Roadrunners 14-9 on April 8 at the KCKCC baseball field. The Blue Devils have now lost three in a row and 4-6 in their last 10 games. -
Blue Devils and Red Ravens Split Series
April 08, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team fell in both games to the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens in Coffeyville, Kan with scores of 4-3 and 10-5. The games in Coffeyville were originally scheduled for April 5 but due to weather they were pushed back to April 7. The first two games were at KCKCC last week with the Blue Devils winning both but the roles switched Monday night as the Red Ravens took both games. -
Baseball Allows One Run in Double Header Against Red Ravens
April 07, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team beat the Coffeyville Red Ravens in both games, 5-0 and 8-1, at the KCKCC baseball field. The Blue Devils are currently tied for fifth place with Fort Scott in the conference with a KJCCC record of 7-7. They will take on Fort Scott April 10 and 12. -
Baseball Puts Up 28 Runs against Grizzlies
April 02, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team took down the Butler Community College Grizzlies with an outstanding score of 28-16 April 1 in El Dorado, Kan. The KCKCC Blue Devil baseball team has not put up that many runs since March 27, 2018 when they took down MCC with a score of 30-4. -
No.16 Cavaliers Take Series Against KCKCC
March 31, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team played Johnson County Community College four times this past weekend losing three of the four. The first two games were at the KCKCC baseball field as the Cavaliers won 5-3 and 9-3. The Blue Devils then took one game at JCCC as they fell in game one with a final score of 8-7 and won in game two, 5-4. In all four games, KCKCC was leading at some point but let the Cavaliers come back into the game. -
Blue Devil Baseball Takes Down DII Ranked Opponent
March 26, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team beat the Division II No.25 North Central Missouri College Pirates 10-8 March 25 in Trenton, Mo. The Pirates entered the game with an impressive 17-4 record while the Blue Devils came in with an overall record of 16-10. The top half of the order had quite the day offensively as the first four batters recorded nine of the 13 Blue Devil hits. -
Baseball Splits with Panthers
March 24, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team split against the Neosho County Community College Panthers in Chanute, Kan. Despite both teams getting just five hits each, the Panthers were able to outscore the Blue Devils with a big 6-run inning in the bottom of the sixth. -
Dierks Streak Continues in Split Series Against Neosho
March 24, 2025For the second time in three days, the Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team split against the Neosho County Community College Panthers, but this time at the KCKCC baseball field Saturday. Marcus Dierks added four hits and three RBIs in the series against Neosho, giving him at least one hit in eight consecutive games. -
Nolen IV Adds Five Hits in Win Over Wolves
March 19, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team took down the Metropolitan Community College Wolves, 14-9 on March 19 at the Maple Woods Complex in Kansas City, Mo. Freddie Nolen IV had a career-high five hits in his six plate appearances as he scored three of those five times he got on base and knocked in one RBI. -
28 Blue Devil Runs Good Enough for Split
March 12, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team split against the St. Charles Community College Cougars in O’Fallon, Mo. The Blue Devils put up 14 runs in both game 1 and game 2. The Blue Devils let up just four runs in the first game, but then allowed the Cougars to score 19 runs in game two. -
Baseball Bounces Back to Take Series
March 03, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team played three games this weekend against Barton Community College and took two of the games. Friday, Feb. 28 the Blue Devils fell to the Cougars 6-4 but bounced back on Saturday, Mar.1 to win both games with scores of 10-0 and 5-1. -
Baseball Takes Series Against Dodge City on the Road
February 24, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team played three games this weekend in Dodge City, Kan. and took two of the three games against the Dodge City Conquistadors. Saturday Feb. 22, the Blue Devils won 12-7, and then split the games on Feb. 23, 9-3 and 5-6. The one loss for the Blue Devils came off an extra inning, walk-off hit from Ben Longoria with two outs, scoring a runner on third base. -

Baseball Has Successful Start to Season in Millington
February 17, 2025The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team played three games this weekend in Millington, Tenn. in the Perfect Game Invitational. Friday Feb.14, the Blue Devils took on Hinds Community College, followed by a game against Jefferson College later in the day. Due to weather conditions, the games scheduled for Saturday were moved to Sunday when the Blue Devils took on Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.
