BALDWIN, Kan. – KCKCC baseball player Hector Candelas was named the East Division Baseball Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Candelas batted .571 for the week and hit three home runs, while adding 10 RBI. He sparked the offense by helping them win four out of five games last week. Candelas leads the team and conference with a .440 batting average.

Other players nominated included JCCC's Dylan Hufft.

The Blue Devils return to action Thursday when they host Coffeyville at 1 p.m.
