Lady Blue Devils Advance to Finals with Huge Win Over Allen, 63-56
March 11, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (22-9) took down Allen Community College (22-6), 63-56 Mar. 8 in the semifinals of the KJCCC Tournament at Johnson County Community College. The Lady Blue Devils lost to Allen twice in the regular season, 69-44 and 84-43, but won when it mattered. -
Lady Blue Devils Season Ends with Loss to JCCC in Conference Final, 55-50
March 11, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (22-10) fell to Johnson County Community College (31-0), 55-50 Mar. 9 in the championship game of the KJCCC Tournament. The Lady Blue Devils had an impeccable season winning eight conference games, more than 20 wins in the season and five KJCCC Player of the Week recipients.

March 05, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (21-9, 8-4) crushed Hesston College (11-17, 1-11), 84-60 Mar. 4 at MCC-Penn Valley. The Lady Blue Devils advance to the KJCCC semifinals and will take on No. 2 Allen at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Johnson County Community College.

Lady Blue Devils Smash Hesston in Last Regular Season Game, 79-49
February 29, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (20-9, 8-4) crushed Hesston College (11-16, 1-11), 79-49 Feb. 27 at MCC-Penn Valley. Bennett Peck went back-to-back games with 17 points and tied her career high. The Lady Blue Devils finished in third place in the KJCCC with an overall record of 20-9 and a conference record of 8-4. Johnson County went 12-0 and Allen is one game ahead of the Lady Blue Devils with a record of 9-3.

Lady Blue Devils Take Down Labette with Ease, 86-60
February 26, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (19-9, 7-4) crushed Labette Community College (4-20, 1-10), 84-43 Feb. 24. Bennett Peck scored a career-high 17 points during the road game, converting on five 3-pointers and two free throws.

February 19, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (18-9, 6-4) fell to the Allen Community College Red Devils (19-5, 7-3), 84-43 Feb. 17 in Iola, Kan. Three Lady Blue Devils fouled out, and the team shot a season-low 26.1 percent from the field.

Lady Blue Devils Sneak by Neosho, 75-69
February 08, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (17-7, 5-2) defeated the Neosho County Community College Panthers (17-6, 4-3), 75-69 Feb. 7 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. Ti’Ye Davis had a career day with a season-high 17 points and five rebounds (tied season-high) along with two assists. Where Davis really came to save the day was from the free-throw line. The Lady Blue Devils struggled down the stretch to convert on free throws but Davis went 12-15 on the game and went 10-11 in the fourth quarter.

Jada Johnson leads Lady Blue Devils to Victory Over Hesston, 74-52
February 05, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (16-7, 4-2) defeated the Hesston College Larks (11-10, 1-5), 74-52 Feb. 3 in Hesston, Kan. The Lady Blue Devils are now in a three-way tie for second place in the KJCCC with Allen and Neosho. Johnson County is currently sitting in first place with a 6-0 conference record.

Lady Blue Devils Annihilate Labette, 101-61
February 01, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (15-7, 3-2) trampled the Labette Community College Cardinals (3-15, 0-5), 101-61 Jan. 31 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. Victoria Jones ended the night with 17 points, 16 assists and nine rebounds. She was just one rebound short of a triple double and broke a KCKCC women’s basketball record for assists in a single game.

Lady Blue Devils Drop KJCCC Game to Allen, 69-44
January 25, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (13-7, 2-2) fell to the Allen Community College Red Devils (14-4, 2-2), 69-44 Jan. 24 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. The Lady Blue Devils once again started off hot, leading by as much as seven points with 4:31 remaining in the first quarter. However, they were nearly shut out of the third quarter, only scoring two points.

Lady Blue Devils Sneak by Highland, 53-50
January 23, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (15-6, 2-1) secured second place in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) with a 53-50 win over the Highland Community College Scotties (13-8, 1-3) Jan. 20 in Highland, Kan. Sarah Khamis came off the bench shooting a perfect 2-2 from the field, 1-1 from three and 2-2 from the free-throw line. Only Johnson County stands in front of the Lady Blue Devils in KJCCC play.

Lady Blue Devils Hot Start Not Enough for Johnson County as They Fall, 66-52
January 18, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (13-6, 1-1) fell to the Johnson County Community College Cavaliers (18-0, 2-0), 66-52 Jan. 17 at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. KCKCC led by as many as 10 points in the first quarter due to the dominate play of Jada Johnson and Kaylyn Rogers who combined for 14 points.

Lady Blue Devils Start Conference Play with Monster Win Against Neosho, 86-64
January 17, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (14-5) defeated Neosho County Community College (13-5), 84-68 Jan. 13 in Chanute, Kan. Jada Johnson led the Lady Blue Devils with a 35 point and 11 rebound double double. She also led the team in steals (5) and had five assists.

Johnson hits 1,000 career points as the Lady Blue Devils Hammer Metropolitan, 94-58
January 12, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (12-5) defeated Metropolitan Community College (4-10), 94-58 Jan. 10 at MCC-Penn Valley. Adding to the victory, Jada Johnson surpassed 1,000 career points, finishing the night with 22 points and nine rebounds.

January 08, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (11-5) defeated the Bethany College JV Swedes, 86-51 Dec. 16 at Rockhurst University. The Lady Blue Devils recorded 33 points in the third quarter, which is a season-high for a single quarter.

Blue Devils Take Down Undefeated State Fair, 67-57
December 11, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (7-5) took down the State Fair Roadrunners (10-1) 67-57 Saturday afternoon at State Fair Community College. The game was tied heading into the fourth quarter, but Victoria Jones, Jada Johnson and Jailynn Schmaltz combined for 19 points to bring home the win.

Lady Blue Devils Lose to North Central Missouri in Overtime Thriller, 89-80
December 04, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (5-5) fell to the North Central Missouri Pirates (10-1) 89-80 Saturday afternoon at Rockhurst University. The Lady Blue Devils were down 71-67 with just 18 seconds left but managed to find a way to send the game into overtime.

Johnson Leads Blue Devils to Win Over Haskell JV, 65-38
December 01, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (5-4) took down the Haskell Fighting Indians Varsity Reserve (1-9) 64-38 Thursday night at Haskell University. Jada Johnson recorded her second highest scoring performance of the season with 30 points while having seven rebounds, three steals and one assist.

November 29, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team (4-3) just fell short to the North Central Missouri Pirates (8-1) 51-45 Tuesday night in Trenton, Mo. Sophomore guard, Jada Johnson recorded her first double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She now averages a team high 18.8 points per game this season.

Jada Johnson led the way with 20 points, three steals and seven rebounds.

November 13, 2023The Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team (2-1) defeated the North Platte Knights 54-44 on Nov. 10 at Hy-Vee Arena. Jada Johnson was the only Blue Devil in double figures with 20 points while also tallying up seven rebounds (both team highs).

November 03, 2023Blue Devils offense was led by sophomore, Jada Johnson who scored 31 points with nine rebounds. Symiah Bradley tallied 19 points with eight rebounds helping the Blue Devil women’s basketball team to an 86-57 victory over the Saint Mary Spires in their 2023-24 season opener.
