CHARLOTTE, N.C. - KCKCC baseball player Gehrig Goldbeck was named one of nine winners of an NJCAA DI Baseball Gold Glove, the national office announced on Wednesday.

After earning a conference Rawlings Gold Glove award just a few weeks ago, Goldbeck racked up the national award for the same category. The freshman had an outstanding 2023 season on the field where he recorded a .974 fielding percentage for the Blue Devils in 60 total games. The percentage was marked by the infielder totaling 75 putouts and 146 assists, while committing just six errors.

KCKCC finished the year with a 40-23 overall record.
