BLUE DEVILS FALL TO HESSTON in REGION VI CHAMPIOSHIP GAME

KCKCC win streak game to an end on Saturday at Koch Arena in the Region VI DII championship game.  In an exciting game, time just ran out on KCKCC.  The Blue Devils finished the regular season with a 23-9 record for the 2014-2015 season.

Defense was a huge reason why the Blue Devils made the run they did late in the season.  Unfortuantely defense and free throws would be their demise in this game.  "We lost by 8 points and we missed 8 free throws in the second half.  Also, we couldn't get stops on the defensive end.  Hesston shot 58%from the 3 point line and 56% from the field." said Coach Newton.

The Blue Devils were led in scoring by Joe Lendway who had 17 points.  CJ Vallejo had 14 while Dehven Talley added 11 points.
