KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Another big matchup for the Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team pitted them against No. 2 and undefeated Johnson County CC Saturday afternoon inside the KCKCC Fieldhouse. The game was tight from the beginning, but the Blue Devils held a comfortable lead down the stretch to upset the Cavaliers 77-65.

The Blue Devils improve to 15-7 overall and 6-1 in the KJCCC.

KCKCC would break out on a 10-0 run to start the game thanks to six points from Bradley Lightbourne. The Blue Devils maintained the lead until the 8:48 mark of the first half as JCCC tied the score at 16-16. KCKCC would hold the lead late though and go up by two points at 34-32 at halftime.

The Blue Devils would come out strong in the second half and found themselves up 47-36 after Caleb Jones drove the lane for a dunk.
