SEDALIA, Mo. - The KCKCC men's basketball team kept their winning streak going on Saturday night when they traveled to State Fair CC and defeated the Roadrunners 83-70 for their fourth straight win.

The Blue Devils are now 5-5 overall on the year.

KCKCC got out to a decisive lead after the first half leading State Fair 39-24 at the break. State Fair made the most of the second half outscoring the Blue Devils 46-44, but KCKCC's surge at the start helped them pull out the win.

Gary Bess Jr. was the top scorer on the team with 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting, while Bradley Lightbourne scored 14 points. Jalen Broyles (11) and Jerry Maxinaud (10) also notched double-figures in the contest. KCKCC shot 54.7 percent from the floor in the game.

The squad returns to the court in Illinois this weekend when they take on John Wood CC Friday night at 7 p.m. and Illlinois Central CC Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
