BALDWIN, Kan. - KCKCC men's basketball player Bradley Lightbourne has added his second straight KJCCC DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week honor, the conference office announced today. The honor comes after the team continued its winning streak this past weekend defeating John Wood CC 82-73 and Illinois Central College 74-65.

Lightbourne led the Blue Devils in scoring in both games. After scoring a career-high 29 points against John Wood, he nearly put in a triple-double against Illinois Central recording 24 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. He averaged 26.5 points per game for the week and 82.3 percent from the free throw line. Lightbourne is averaging 18.8 points per game to lead the squad, which is also third best in the KJCCC.

KCKCC has won six games in a row and faces a tough test tonight at home against Iowa Western CC at 7 p.m.

Other players nominated for the award this week were Andre Norris of Fort Scott CC and Xavier Kahube of Johnson County Community College.
