Men's Basketball Sprints Past Neosho 79-60 Saturday

CHANUTE, Kan. – The KCKCC men's basketball team continued their hot streak by defeating Neosho CC 79-60 on Saturday afternoon on the road.

The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-8 overall and 4-1 in the KJCCC.

Jalen Broyles and Hudson Anderson gave the team a small run in the first half as the Blue Devils led 26-21 with 5:13 left in the half. Later on, Jeremiah Stanton connected on a three-point shot to give the team a 10-point lead. KCKCC eventually led 38-26 at halftime.

KCKCC opened the second half on a 7-0 run to give them a 45-26 advantage. That run, along with a balanced defensive effort, helped the Blue Devils lead the rest of the way.

Broyles led the team with 20 points and Bradley Lightbourne had 17.

KCKCC returns to action on Wednesday on the road against Allen County at 8 p.m.
