Stanton Named KJCCC DII Men's Basketball Co-Player Of The Week

BALDWIN, Kan. – KCKCC men's basketball player Jeremiah Stanton has been named the KJCCC DII Co-Player of the Week the conference office announced on Tuesday. Stanton joins JCCC's Ryan Gordon as the other weekly winner.

Stanton helped the Blue Devils to two wins on the week by averaging 16.0 points per game. He shot 66.7 percent from the floor and 80.0 percent from three-point range. He had a season-high 20 points against Highland and scored in double-figures for the fifth time of the season against Neosho. Stanton is tied for fourth in the nation with a 50.0 three-point percentage. 

The Blue Devils are 13-8 overall and 4-1 in the conference this season.

KCKCC returns to action Wednesday night on the road against Allen County at 8 p.m.
