BALDWIN, Kan. – KCKCC men's basketball player Jalen Broyles has been named the KJCCC DII men's basketball player of the week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Broyles averaged 19.5 points in two games for the Blue Devils, including an upset over No. 19 Allen County. He also averaged 8.0 rebounds and shot 59.2 percent from the field. The two wins for the team put them in a tie for first place atop the conference standings with Allen County. Broyles is second on the team with 14.2 points per game. 

Other nominees for player of the week were: Fort Scott's Keryn Collins and Johnson County's Ryan Gordon.

The Blue Devils are back in action on Wednesday at Johnson County at 7:30 p.m.
