Franklin Williams Jr. was named Assistant Coach at Kansas City Kansas Comunity College in 2023 and is still in his first season. He attended and played basketball at Indian Hills Community College from 2011-13 and finished his collegiate basketball years at UMKC from 2013-15. Coach Brandon Burgette was the Assistant Coach for Indian Hills while Williams was playing.
Before his collegiate years, Williams was a four year varsity basketball letterman, 3x All-Conference, 2x All-State and 1x Conference Player of the Year. On top of that, the forward from Kansas City, Mo took part in the 1,000 point scorer club and had a career high 40 points in a single game.
After school, Williams played six years of professional basketball in Europe then came back to the United States to coach.
