Men's Soccer Slips To No. 3 Cowley CC Saturday

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The KCKCC men's soccer team faced their fourth straight ranked opponent Saturday night in No. 3 Cowley County CC under the lights. The Blue Devils stayed competitive, but slipped in the end to the Tigers by a score of 2-0. 

The Blue Devils are 1-5 on the season and 0-4 in KJCCC play. 

Cowley would score the first goal of the game early, coming in the fifth minute to take a 1-0 lead. KCKCC held strong throughout the first half, despite possession being in favor of the Tigers throughout. Cowley would lead 1-0 at halftime before adding the second goal of the game in the 85th minute.

The Blue Devils took five total shots in the game, while Cowley had 23. 

Simon Prodan, Ajay Stewart and Pedro Faria each had one shot in the game.

KCKCC returns to action to face their fifth straight ranked opponent on Wednesday at No. 14 Coffeyville CC.
