Men's Soccer Stumbles At Home To Dodge City CC

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The KCKCC men's soccer team fell in a matchup with Dodge City CC on Saturday, 5-1 at home. The Blue Devils fall to 1-7 overall and 0-6 in the KJCCC.

Dodge City scored the first two goals of the game in the 29th and 31st minutes respectively, but the Blue Devils would get on the board in the 39th minute when Pedro Faria sent a cross into the box where Felipe Acherboim headed it into the net. The Blue Devils would trail 2-1 at the break. 

Dodge City came out hot in the second half and would outscore the Blue Devils 3-0 to take the win.

Acherboim scored the lone goal in the match and the Blue Devils took five total shots. Jean Nzambi made one save in goal.

KCKCC returns to action on Oct. 2 at Garden City CC at 1 p.m.
