Burke Slusher is a highly respected soccer coach with over two decades of experience in the sport. He joined the Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) soccer program in 2014 as the assistant coach for the men's program, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Before joining KCKCC, Slusher served as the assistant coach for men and women at William Jewell College, where he made a significant impact on the soccer program. Slusher's passion for coaching is rooted in his deep love for soccer, which began at an early age.

Born in Wyandotte County and raised in the Kansas City area, Slusher attended and played soccer at North Kansas City High School. He went on to play college soccer at Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University), where he honed his skills as a player.

Slusher's coaching career began with the KC Pace soccer club, where he coached youth and helped lead the team to win Missouri state championships in 2005 and 2006. He then served as an associate head coach and director of goalkeeping for the Kansas City Brass PDL from 2002-2013.

Throughout his career, Slusher has been involved in numerous youth training programs, including the KC Wizards youth training program, Missouri ODP identification camps, and William Jewell goalkeeping camp director. He has also served as a talent evaluator for Sporting KC and FC Kansas City open tryouts.

With his vast experience and knowledge of the game, Slusher is a valuable asset to the KCKCC soccer program. His dedication to developing players and his love for the sport make him a beloved figure in the local soccer community.
