Jenn Strohman enters her sixth year as an Assistant Coach for the Blue Devils.

In Coach Strohman’s 5th year she assisted 15 members of the team who were KJCCC All Academic selections and those same 15 members were also named to the NFCA All Scholar team. The team was also recognized as a top ten NFCA Academic Team finishing 3rd among all Junior Colleges. The Blue Devils were also named an NJCAA Academic team of the year. Left fielder Ruby Nola was a First Team All-Region Selection and received the Golden Glove Award for Left Field given by the NFCA.

Coach Strohman assisted the Blue Devils to winning the District B Championship. The Blue Devils finished 7th at the NJCAA DII National Tournament. Bradi Basler was named an NJCAA 1st Team All American and McKenna Lester was named to the 3rd team.  Both Basler and Lester were NFCA 1st Team All Americans. 12 members of the squad were KJCCC All Academic selections and those same 12 players were also named to NFCA All Scholar team. Ten players received NJCAA Academic awards. The team was also recognized as a top ten NFCA Academic Team and an NJCAA Academic team of the year. Strohman was also named NFCA Assistant Coach of the Year. 

In Strohman’s third year she helped the Blue Devils to a District B Runner Up finish. The Blue Devils ended the season with a 41-15 record. Four members of the Blue Devils were named to All District B teams. Strohman’s main off the field responsibility is overseeing the team’s Academic success. Fifteen members of the Blue Devils were named to the KJCCC All-Academic Team. The same 15 members were NFCA Scholar Athletes and 14 were NJCAA All Americans. The 2021 Blue Devils were an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year finishing 14th in the country.

The Blue Devils had a record of 7-7 during the shortened 2020 season. The 2018-19 Team was named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year finishing 23rd in the nation out of 135 teams. The Blue Devils were 12-8 in conference and were runner up in Region VI/District D Championship. The 2018-19 Team was named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year finishing 23rd in the nation out of 135 teams. 

Prior to KCKCC Strohman was with Coach Ross at Fort Scott Community College. Strohman assisted in leading the Greyhounds to one of the best seasons in the 30-year history of softball. The team finished 28-22 overall and the team finished as an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year.  

Strohman graduated from Bellevue University in May of 2009 with a degree in Liberal Studies and received her Master’s in Leadership in 2011. Strohman helped lead the Bruins to the NAIA National Tournament and earned All MCAC Team of the year. Prior to attending Bellevue University, Strohman was a member of the Iowa Western Community College Reiver Softball Team. She led her team to a 91-39 record. She was a Team leader and Conference leader in Doubles (27), had a .500 on-base percentage, and a 1.000 fielding percentage. Her 2005-06 team was inducted as the first women into the Reiver Hall of Fame.

Strohman was a member of the NJCAA Academic Team of the Year, as well as earning All-Region honors.

Strohman is originally from Chino, California and graduated from Don Lugo High School in 2004. Strohman competed in Softball, was on the honor roll and had perfect attendance.
