KCKCC Women's Basketball team improved their record to 23-2 Saturday defeating Fort Scott 79-48.  "This game was the best all round game by starting backcourt Cassidy Harbert, Erin Anderson and Cierra Gaines," said Stambersky.  "I've always felt we potentially had the best backcourt in the conference and tonight they played like it. "

Cierra Gaines led all scorers with 16 points shooting 100% from the charity stripe, 50% from the 3 point line and 67% from the floor.  Erin Anderson posted one of her strongest games adding 11 points while point guard Cassidy Harbert had 7 points, 7 boards and 7 assists.

Iland Shurn came off the bench and dominated in the paint with 15 points and 8 rebounds.  Cheyenne North also added 8 points and 8 boards while grabbing 4 steals.  "It was a great team win and everyone contributed.  We are starting to see some really good things from our group at a very important time in the season," said Stambersky.  The Lady Blue Devils moved up one spot in this week's National polls to #4.  They are back in action on Wednesday at home with region opponent Hesston at 5:00.
