The Lady Blue Devils improved on their record to 25-2 on Saturday beating Brown Mackie 128-61.  The blue devils set three new school records in the process.  They set a record for most points in a half with 68, a record they previously set earlier in the year against Brown Mackie in January when they scored 66.  They set a record for most points a game with 128.  The previous record was 121 points against Brown Mackie on January 3rd.  The blue devils also broke the school record for most assists in a game with 38.  The previous record was 36 set in 1996 against Garden City.

The Lady Blue Devils put in an all-around team performance.  The Blue Devils were led in scoring and rebounding by Cheyenne North who had 21 points and 12 rebounds.  Sierra Roberts scored 19 points off the bench shooting 6-10 from the floor and 5-9 from the 3 point line.  Iland Shurn added 13 point, Rashaun Casey, Aricca Daye and Cierra Gaines had 12 points and Janai Mitchell added 10.

Aricca Daye also had 8 assists while Cassidy Harbert had 7 and Sierra Roberts added 5.  The Lady Blue devils shot 57% from the floor and 44% from behind the arc.  "It was an exciting win for the team," said Stambersky.  "We had a rough week and were really struggling in some areas so it was nice to see our starters get off to a good start and then to have some solid performances off the bench from Sierra Roberts, Rashaun Casey and Aricca Daye.  Hopefully this will be the momentum boost we need heading into the final games of the season," said Coach Stambersky.

The Lady Blue Devils are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Highland for a 5:00 tip off.  They will return home again on Saturday against Allen County at 2:00.
