PARSONS, Kan. – The KCKCC women's basketball team played their second conference game of the season Wednesday night, facing a tough No. 8 Labette squad. The Blue Devils struggled and fell to the Cardinals 66-30.
KCKCC is now 10-7 overall and 0-2 in KJCCC play.
After an 8-3 first quarter lead for Labette, the Blue Devils were still within striking distance. Labette posted a 15-8 advantage in the second period and took a 23-11 halftime lead. KCKCC's struggles continued, and the team managed just 19 points in the second half.
Lacy Whitcomb had a team high six points.
KCKCC is back in action on Saturday when they host Hesston College at 1 p.m.
