BALDWIN, Kan. – KCKCC women's basketball player Jada Johnson has been named the KJCCC DII women's basketball player of the week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Johnson earns the award after helping the Blue Devils to two conference wins last week. She also went a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe and shot 56.2 percent from the field. Johnson leads the team with 14.3 points per game.

Other nominees for player of the week were: Johnson County's Lisa Thomas and Labette's Ishuana Hunter.

The Blue Devils are back in action on Wednesday at No. 3 Johnson County at 5:30 p.m.
