Women's Soccer Falls To Ravens Wednesday

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. - The KCKCC women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss on the road to Coffeyville CC Wednesday night. The Blue Devils took six total shots in the match but were unable to connect on the net.

KCKCC is now 3-4-1 overall and 2-4 in KJCCC play.

Both teams played a scoreless first half as neither squad was able to create on the offensive end. Then seven minutes into the second half the Ravens put the first goal on the board, from Thayline Teixeira. The Ravens added two more goals in the 78th and 80th minutes of the match to take a 3-0 lead and would hold on.

Maria Luiza RochaViola BischoffKennia Acuna-SotoMia HurtCordilia Payne and Emma Gervy all had one shot in the match. Goalkeeper Karli Angle recorded four saves.

The Blue Devils return to the turf on Saturday when they host Dodge City CC at 12 p.m.
