KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The No. 20 KCKCC volleyball team had another tough test Wednesday night inside the KCKCC Fieldhouse battling No. 2 Cowley County CC. The Blue Devils would fall in all three sets to the Tigers 3-0 by scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-16.

The Blue Devils nearly took the first set as they led 21-19, but Cowley would climb back and take six of the next nine points to close it out. KCKCC struggled against the Tigers in the final two sets as they took advantage of a few miscues. Cowley took a big lead in the second set before running away with the last two sets on the night.

Carlee Lill led the Blue Devils with eight kills and Gracey Lovgren added six. Taryn Dial added 28 assists and Emma Ayers had 15 digs. 

The Blue Devils return to action today and Saturday for a home tri-match beginning with Nebraska Kearney JV today at 2 p.m. and St. Louis CC at 6 p.m.
