
The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team is set to make their mark as the No.11 seed in the 2024 NJCAA DII Women's Volleyball Championship. The tournament begins Nov. 20 at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
KCKCC, who finished with an overall record of 24-7, will take on No.6 Gulf Coast State College Lady Commodores (23-5) in the opening round of the tournament. The Lady Commodores come out of the Florida College System Activities Association and finished with a regular season record of 14-0. They fell to Pensacola State College in the FCSAA DII Volleyball Championship with a final score of 3-1 (21-25, 21-25, 30-28 and 10-25).
The Blue Devils open play at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 20, taking on the Lady Commodores. The 2024 NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship is a double elimination tournament meaning a team must lose two times to be officially eliminated.
Pool play games will be streamed on the NJCAA Network. A day pass is $12, Tournament Pass is $30 and All-Access Pass (all 2024-25 NJCAA Championship events) for $100. Stay tuned to KCKCC social media channels and the KCKCC website for information as the Blue Devils progress through the tournament.
