Blue Devil Volleyball Finishes Fourth at NJCAA Tournament
December 03, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College volleyball team entered the 2024 NJCAA DII Women’s Volleyball Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as the No.11 seed. A double elimination style bracket, once a team loses the first game, they enter the consolation bracket. There, a team must win out to play in the third-place game. To win the entire tournament, a team must win every game with no losses. -
Blue Devil Volleyball Headed to National Tournament as No.11 Seed
November 14, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team is set to make their mark as the No.11 seed in the 2024 NJCAA DII Women's Volleyball Championship. The tournament begins Nov. 20 at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

No.13 Blue Devil Volleyball Falls in Plains District B Tournament Final
November 11, 2024The No.13 Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball fell to No.10 Johnson County Community College Nov. 9 at Friends University in Wichita, Kan. in the Plains District B Tournament Final. The Blue Devils were one point away from taking the match to the fifth set as they were leading 24-19 in the fourth set against the Cavaliers. They were unable to get that point and lost the set which put an end to the match.

Blue Devil Volleyball Moves On to Plains District B Tournament Final
November 07, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball took down the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Norse Nov. 6 at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. in the semifinal of the Plains District B Tournament. This is the second time the Blue Devils and Norse have faced off against one another this year. The last matchup ended in a reverse sweep in favor of the Blue Devils on Oct. 4 at Mid-America Nazarene University.

No.13 Volleyball Finish 23-6 in Regular Season
November 01, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball swept the Hesston College Larks Oct. 30 at Hesston College in Hesston, Kan. The Blue Devils finished in third place in the KJCCC with a conference record of 8-2. The two losses are from the teams who finished ahead of them, Cowley College and Johnson County Community College. Currently in the NJCAA rankings, Cowley is No.1, Johnson County is No.10 and the Blue Devils are No.13.

No.13 Volleyball Celebrate Sophomores with a Sweep
October 29, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team swept the Independence Community College Pirates Oct. 28 at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. The six Blue Devil sophomores who were recognized were Nykeriah Allen, Alejandre Aponte, Geme Ajekwu, Mercedez Brown, Glodalys Colon and Sophia Frerking.

No.16 Women’s Volleyball Has Huge Weekend in Fort Dodge, Iowa
October 28, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team took on No.5 Richard Bland, North Iowa Area Community College and Des Moines Area Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa over the weekend, coming home with three wins. As of Oct. 28, the Blue Devils sit in third place in the KJCCC with a conference record of 6-2, just behind Cowley (8-0) and Johnson County (7-2).

No.16 Volleyball Fall to Undefeated No.1 Cowley
October 24, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team fell to the No.1 Cowley College Tigers Oct. 24 at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. The Tigers haven’t lost a match since they got knocked out of the 2022 NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship for 5th place on Nov. 19, 2022. That makes it 68 straight wins and 705 days since their last loss.

No.16 Blue Devils Volleyball Successful Weekend in West Burlington
October 21, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team took down both Southeastern Community College and East Central College Oct. 19 in West Burlington, Iowa. The Blue Devils have now won eight matches in a row and have only conceded six sets during that span.

Volleyball Clutch Up in Tight Match Against Allen
October 11, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team took down the Allen Community College Red Devils Oct. 9 at Allen Community College in Iola, Kan. The Blue Devils 2023 Season came to an end on Nov. 1, 2023 in the first round of the Plains A District Tournament losing to Allen. This was the first time the Blue Devils saw the Red Devils since the season ending loss. In the four sets that took place in the most recent rematch, every set was won by exactly two points.

Blue Devils Volleyball Pulls Off Reverse Sweep Against Top 20 Team
October 08, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team took down both the Fort Scott Greyhounds and the No.19 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Norse Oct. 4 at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kan. The Blue Devils are now 5-1 in conference play and 15-5 overall.

Volleyball Takes Over Third Place in the KJCCC after Sweep of Highland
October 05, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team swept the Highland Community College Scotties Oct. 2 at Highland Community College. The Blue Devils were directly behind the Scotties in the KJCCC standings. With the sweep, the Blue Devils are now just behind Johnson County and Cowley College who are both undefeated in conference play.

September 30, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team swept the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens Sep. 25 at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. The Blue Devils are currently 12-5 overall and 3-1 in conference, which puts them in fourth place behind Johnson County, Cowley and Highland.

September 23, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team swept the Ottawa University JV team Sep. 20 at the Johnson County Community College Tournament in Overland Park, Kan. The Blue Devils have now won five matches in a row as they will head into Saturday’s matches against No.4 Kirkwood Community College and Northeast Community College.

September 23, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team went .500 on the day as they took on No.4 Kirkwood Community College and Northeast Community College Sep. 21 at the Johnson County Community College Tournament in Overland Park, Kan. After the weekend, the Blue Devils are currently in fourth place in the KJCCC, behind Johnson County, Cowley and Highland.

Blue Devils Volleyball Go Perfect against Southwestern and Benedictine
September 18, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team swept both Southwestern Community College and the Benedictine College JV team Sep. 17 at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. With the two sweeps, the Blue Devils have now swept seven of the nine matches they have won this year.

September 05, 2024The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team (4-2) swept the Neosho County Community College Panthers Sep. 4 at JCCC in Overland Park, Kan. The Blue Devils won the first three sets 25-10, 25-20 and 25-18. With this sweep, it now marks the third on the season.
